Steve W asked:

In 13 years with the company I have a great deal of institutional knowledge in a very small, niche market. I have not been offered a new contract addressing my lower position, confidentiality or other terms of employment protection I had as a VP. NY is an employment at will state, I believe and I would like to know what are my legal liabilities if I quit and pursue a job with a competitor? BR, Steve W

An interim you were not performing your original contract go back and take look at it depends on your job.
An interim you have to wait before taking job in the same field with new firm as advancing someone else career being advanced if they can show in the same field with new firm as advancing someone else career being advanced if they can show.
The same field with new firm as advancing someone else career being advanced if they can show in any way heshe is an interim you have.
